Son Ye Jin and So Ji Sub were interviewed about their upcoming film on MBC’s “Section TV.” On the March 11 broadcast of the entertainment news show, the two actors answered questions about working together on the film “Be With You.” When VIXX member and special news reporter N asked if they felt different as time had passed since working together 17 years ago, So Ji Sub answered, “Not at all.” The actor was then asked if there were any moments his heart fluttered while filming the movie, So JI Sub answered, “My heart always fluttered.” Son Ye Jin laughed and said, “When you say it like that, it sounds fake.” He denied this and explained, “It’s true. Our film shows the process of [the characters] from when they’re in school to them becoming a married couple. After acting all of that out, it felt like we’re meeting for the first time, holding hands for the first time, and kissing for the first time. It really made my heart flutter.” Son Ye Jin is best friends with actress Gong Hyo Jin, who also has experience working with So Ji Sub on-screen. When asked if she received any advice from her best friend, Son Ye Jin revealed, “[She said that] he’s a really nice person and praised him a lot. He really is the king of thoughtfulness.” So Ji Sub shyly laughed and commented, “I’m not that nice of a person.” After appearing on many romance films, Son Ye Jin is described as “the queen of melo films.” She acted in the film “Classic” with Jo In Sung, “A Moment to Remember” with Jung Woo Sung, and “Be With You” with So Ji Sub. When asked about the differences between these actors, Son Ye Jin laughed and said, “It’s already been 14 years and it’s been a while.” So Ji Sub quickly paraphrased the question and told her, “I think they want you to choose one out of the three.” N explained that this wasn’t his intention, but since So Ji Sub seemed to want it that way, N asked her to choose between the three actors. Son Ye Jin jokingly replied, “Of course it’s…Jung Woo Sung” and So Ji Sub interjected, “I didn’t even expect you [to pick me]!” Son Ye Jin added, “I’m kidding. Of course, it’s So Ji Sub.” “Be With You” will premiere in theaters in Korea on March 14. Source 1 2 How does this article make you feel?
On December 17, Jung Woo Sung, Jo In Sung, Bae Sung Woo, and Ryu Jun Yeol appeared on KBS’s “Entertainment Weekly” to promote their new film “The King.” Jo In Sung had previously named Jung Woo Sung as his role model. In the interview he said, “I joined the film because Jung Woo Sung extended his hand out to me. From now on, he will continue to be my role model. I felt extremely lucky [to work with him].” Jung Woo Sung, meanwhile, said that the reason he appeared in the film was because of Jo In Sung. “It’s because my personality is good,” he added as a joke, using a pun on the word “insung,” which also means personality. In a recent interview for “The King,” Jung Woo Sung mentioned his junior and co-star in the movie, Jo In Sung. He said, “Jo In Sung became an actor as he watched and admired my work. We were both under the same agency once too.” Jo In Sung mentioned previously that Jung Woo Sung has always been his role model. Jung Woo Sung continued, “When I was directing the music video for fourth album that tied together three songs, [Jo In Sung and I] met for the first time as director and actor.” “I lived while thinking that camaraderie between colleagues is important, but if I look back at how much concern I showed him, it’s little to the point that I feel sorry,” he continued. “There should be sharing between seniors and juniors of the same industry. I’m embarrassed and sorry that I didn’t take care of him. I hope that he can gain something from me through “The King.” On the filming set, as I looked at Jo In Sung’s mature image, I thought that I have to become a cooler actor.” “Rather than looking out for the juniors, I worry more about how I should share my experiences with them as a senior. Instead of unilaterally recounting my experiences, [both of us] share our experiences with each other. When Jo In Sung was first casted for The King,’ I wanted to share with him the words I couldn’t say before previously,” he said. Jung Woo Sung also explained why he visited the set even on days when he had no filming. “I often visit the set even if I have no filming parts, but I visited more for The King.’ It’s because I can build up teamwork and trust with the other actors, not just Jo In Sung. Because of that significance, I kept going [to the set.] I think I’ll keep going to the set in future.” Source 1 How does this article make you feel?
